Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

4 Feb

Fortunately or unfortunately, i learnt about skincare the hard way. When your girlfriends tell you that there are 3 steps (cleanser, toner and moisturizer) to a healthy skin, they are right and well…. they are wrong too.

Some people are just blessed with great skin that even just cleansing suffice. If you are like me, then be prepared for 10 steps..nah..just kidding.

The other important step i want to highlight here is exfoliating. When i was younger (gosh..feel so old ), i used St. IVES Apricot Scrub. It works by sloughing off dead cells to reveal healthier, newer cells. But little did i know that those type of scrubs are actually harsh to the skin and are likely to cause more problem.

Anyway, nowadays there are just too many products in the market, its pretty confusing. But Im loving Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant. It’s gentle, and is rice-based, in a powder form and u need to add water to kinda activate it. Can be used daily but i only use it twice a week. It’s expensive, yes but it last so long that when i come to think of it, its actually affordable. Btw, it contains Salicylic acid, so those who have acne prone skin can well use this as a part of their skincare regime. It work wonders, trust me…

This is gonna stay with me for a long time
